Hike, Bike, Skate and Kayak San Diego
Other true Southern California modes of recreations are inline skating, skateboarding and
biking along one of San Diego’s beach boardwalks. One of the best skating spots is along Mission Bay which offers several playgrounds and miles
of grass for kite – flying. Guests also enjoy Mission Beach Boardwalk, one of the busiest skating and biking areas in town.
Bicycling enthusiasts can enjoy varied terrain and bicycling routes throughout the county,
from mountains paths to beach boardwalks. In November 2001, San Diego was recognized as “One of the Top 10 Cities in the United States to Bicycle “ by Bicycling Magazine.
Ocean Beach Skatepark
San Diego is a hotbed of Skateboarding activity.
The Ocean Beach Skatepark, located at Robb Field, is the newest and biggest skateboarding park in San Diego County.
This two – fold facility features a free, unsupervised entry – level street course and a supervised area with advanced elements,
including large ramps and a bowl area for the experienced skater.

Backcountry Trail Guides offers guests the opportunity to discover San Diego’s
Backcountry, including mountain areas of Pristine wilderness, unpaved country roads,
mountains vistas overlooking the desert and Julian, a turn – of – the – century gold mining town.

American presence of the area. Guests can participate in gold mining tours, wildlife hikes, wine tasting tour,
