San Francisco

Ruby Skye

Old style theater charm meets super modern club scene. This turn of the century Victorian Playhouse, built in the 1890's, has survived two major earthquakes with style and dignity intact. Original stained glass windows depicting San Francisco philanthropists and early local talent compliment the interior arches and proscenium theater.

Former home of the Stage Door Theater, the theater has emerged after two years of renovations as a high end nightclub featuring plush furnishings, state-of-the art sound and light systems, a smoking lounge, bar and light refreshments. There is a regular entertainment schedule and the space is available for private use.
