San Francisco

California

Free or reduced admission to attractions

What could be more pleasant for visitors to San Francisco than spending a day or two exploring some of the city’s diverse cultural attractions? Getting in free! Many museums and points of interest set aside a special day(s) each month to offer admission at no charge; other sites are simply free all every day. And of course, summer is the blooming season for free events and outdoor concerts. Here is a list of the attractions and their schedule of free days. To be sure of the most current information, always call the telephone numbers listed or check the Web site. The calendar of events posted on the Web site of the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau, www.onlyinsanfrancisco.com, also can be sorted by "Free Events" for the additional suggestions.
