National Great Blacks in Wax Museum

A trip to Baltimore means many different things to many different visitors. It can be thrilling, energetic, tasty, cultural and last, but not least, educational.

For those of you looking to gain some insight from an historical perspective, the Great Blacks in Wax Museum is the place to be. America's first wax museum featuring Black History and culture, it features over 100 life-size wax figures.

A former Underground Railroad stop, the Baltimore Civil War Museum is also a notable place of interest. This former 1849 train station houses a permanent exhibition based on Baltimore during the Civil War.
