End Beach, Portland

East End Beach with views above the Casco Bay. Located at the Eastern Promenade and only public beach in Portland.

Crescent Beach, Cape Elizabeth

8 miles south of Portland on Rt. 77 in Cape Elizabeth. A popular family swimming beach with fine sand, picnic tables and a snack bar.

Scarborough Beach, Scarborough

White sand beach with dunes - ca. 15 minutes south of Portland at the Black Point Road (Route 207) near Prouts Neck.

Old Orchard Beach, Old Orchard

Old Orchard Beach, just a few minutes south of Portland, is Maine's number 1 beach.
7 mi of white sand beach.

Pine Point Beach, Scarborough

On the north end of the 7 mi long Old Orchard Beach is Pine Point Beach located at the East Grand Avenue in Scarborough. White sand, dunes. During low tide ideal for beach walks or jogging.

Eagle Island, Harpswell

Accessible by ferry from Portland, offers nature trails galore.

Sebago Lake, Sebago

The largest of a network of lakes located 30 miles west of Portland. Canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, boating and water-skiing are all available, as well as ice fishing and skating in the winter season.

Higgins Beach, Scarborough

Popular surfing beach.
