The Gateway Arch Riverboats
The Gateway Arch Riverboats are a unique attraction on the St. Louis Gateway Arch Riverfront.
The Tom Sawyer and the Becky Thatcher riverboats have indoor and outdoor seating for sight seeing,
dinner and chartered cruises.
Concessions are sold on board and on the dock at the Arch View Café.
Patrons have a great view of the Riverfront during daytime and evening cruises.
Established in 1891, the Gateway Arch Riverboats are the
oldest excursion boat company on the Mississippi.
The Company has operated vessels throughout the
inland rivers over the years and has had St. Louis
as its homeport since 1917.
Formerly known as Streckfus
Steamers, Gateway Arch Riverboats has operated some of
the Mississippi's most famous riverboats:
The J.S., St. Paul, Washington, Capitol, President
and the largest inland excursion vessel the Admiral.
