Museum of the City of New York
The Museum of the City of New York is the place to explore and discover the stories of New York’s 400 year journey from it’s beginning as a 17th century Dutch trading post to it’s emergence as what many believe to be the capital of the world. New York City’s premiere history museum links the City’s past, present, and future through a world renowned collection of paintings, photographs, prints, silver, furniture, costumes, toys, and artifacts illustrating the dynamic and complex heritage of our town, New York.

NYC Police Museum
Housed in the historic building that contained the 1st Precinct of the NYPD, the Museum gives visitors an insider’s look at the history and culture of the world’s most famous police force. Exhibits include vintage vehicles, weapon and uniforms, biographies of notorious criminals and displays of law enforcement techniques including forensics and an interactive crime scene. Come salute New York’s Finest.
