The Memphis Zoo

Memphis is only of four U.S. cities with its own pair endangered animals, the giant pandas—Le Le and Ya Ya.
These adorable creatures are part of the much-acclaimed China exhibit at the Memphis Zoo.

The China exhibit also spotlights Asian animals such as Pere David deer, white-naped cranes, Asian small-clawed otters, Chinese goldfish, and white-cheeked gibbons.
The entire China exhibit utilizes educational graphics, murals, video, traditional music and artifacts to enrich the experience as it engages each visitor in the culture, history and wildlife of China.
