Audio Tours Debut in Cheyenne Area Museums

Cheyenne museum patrons can now enjoy free audio tours on their personal cell phones in seven Cheyenne museums. The audio tours describe individual museum exhibits, enhancing the museum experience with additional depth and information. Tours are available at the Cheyenne Depot Museum, Nelson Museum of the West, Historic Governors' Mansion, Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, Wyoming State Museum, and F.E. Warren Air Force Base Museum.

Visitors access the tours by calling a phone number and entering an identifying number for those exhibits for which they want more information. The tours themselves are free, although some users may accrue charges based upon their particular cell phone plan.
