Bill of Rights Day

On December 15th, 1791, it was Virginia which became the last state to ratify the 10 amendments, later known as the Bill of Rights, to the American Constitution. In 1941 President Franklin Delano Roosevelt proclaimed the 150th anniversary of the ratification as Bill of Rights Day and suggested to display the American Flag on this day to honor the American freedom.
