Bed & Breakfasts and Lodges Across Alaska
Bettles Lodge, Bettles
Bettles Lodge is a designated National
Historical Site and offers a blend of history
with all of the modern amenities.
Specializing in hiking, backpacking, fishing,
river floats and winter adventures, Bettles
Lodge will provide an Alaskan adventure to
remember.
Winter adventures include the
great Alaska sport of dog sledding. This is
the opportunity of a lifetime, mushing your
own dog team through the remote pristine
wilderness of the Brooks Range. In the summer
float the Alatna, Koyukuk or Kobuk Rivers, hike the Gates of the Arctic National Park or
combine the two. View wildlife, fish along the crystal clear streams or just simply take in the
magnificent beauty of the far North.
Chandalar Lake Bed & Breakfast
The Chandalar Lake Bed & Breakfast is located 260 miles North of Fairbanks and 60 miles
from the nearest road, the Dalton Highway.
Chandalar Lake is also only a mere 12 miles
from the nationally renowned Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Wake up to the aroma of
freshly baked traditional Alaskan sourdough bread, donuts, muffins and pancakes before
choosing your itinerary for the day. They offer a bevy of activities ranging from dog mushing,
snowshoeing and skijoring in the winter to rock climbing, fishing and prospecting during
the summer.
