The waterfall is located in South Cheyenne Canyon near Colorado Springs - Seven Falls drop in seven steps 181 feet (55 m) down a solid cliff. The water originates from the watersheds of Pikes Peak.
A 224 step stairway brings visitors to a trail system which lead to "Midnight Falls" and to the look-out "Inspiration Point" where you will enjoy a great view of Colorado Springs and the great plains.
Another notable lookout is "Eagles Nest" where you have the best view of Seven Falls. A mountain elevator brings you to that viewing platform.
Seven Falls is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and New Year's Day. The falls are illuminated during evening hours between May Labor Day.
