Haulover Beach is the ultimate place for all who feel that wearing bathing clothes or not should be a free decision: here you can do it without any fear of violating a law - it's officially allowed. Lifeguards are on duty here.
Officials even want to make it the No. 1 clothing-optional beach in the nation.
The Keys & Key West
No beach clothing optional in any State Park on the Keys! On vessels it seems to be tolerated but that doesn't mean it is allowed or supported by any law or statute! It's left to the officers or Coast Guard's discretion!
Key West's "Atlantic Shores Resort" has a small beach clothing optional stretch at their beach.
Also on Key West: the Deja Vu Resort which has no beach access but it is a nudist's resort.
Apollo Beach (near New Smyrna Beach)
Apollo Beach, the clothing-optional area is actually situated in in the "Canaveral National Seashore" area at the south end.
You will will find hardly a parking space. So-called 'Parking Lot 5' is the closest option you have. At 'Marker 29' starts the nude area.
The nudist lobby asks everybody visiting the area to make their grocery shopping in the local shops and of course to buy all other stuff they need at the various shops around. This will support local businesses which will be in result supporters of the nudist lobby and their clothing-optional beach stretch.
