Four Corners Monument

U.S. Highway 160 leads you directly to the Monument: turn north into State Road 597 and drive for another ca. 1/2 mile.
Signs will lead you the way as well.
Distances: to Cortez, Colorado: ca. 40 mi (65km). To Kayenta, Arizona: ca. 77 mi (124 km).
The original marker was set in 1912 but replaced in 1992 by a nicer brass marker enclosed by granite.
To reiterate, it's the only place where you can actually be in 4 states at the same time when you set your feet on it.
This point war first surveyed in 1868.
Admission: $3 per person.
You'll find several native jewelry stores around the monument. Picnic tables, restrooms are also available.
