Day 4 - Olympic National Park - Lake Crescent

Morning activity: Casual Hikes around Lake Crescent.
Sol Duc Falls: One of the most photo-graphed spots in the park, experience the wild beauty of Sol Duc Falls. In three separate falls, the water pounds furiously down through a deep canyon. Enjoy the short trail leading to this natural treasure discovering the lush rainforest along the way.


Lake Crescent: In the north end of the Olympic Peninsula, with Mount Storm King looming in the background, Crescent Lake is one of the northwest’s best-kept secrets. As a lake that some once swore was bottomless, it provides some of the best rainbow trout fishing around. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along its shores.
Marymere Falls: One of the state’s most attractive and popular falls. A one-mile creekside trail rises then forks, leaving day-trippers two options for viewing the 90-foot plunge above emerald Lake Crescent.


Mt. Storm King: A 1.7-mile trail to stunning vistas of the entire lake as well as Lake Sutherland and the Strait of Juan de Fuca in the distance. Spruce Railroad trail: Travel this family- friendly trail winding four miles along the north shore of stunning Lake Crescent. Much of this trail runs on or adjacent to the World War I Spruce Railway bed and offers excellent Lake Crescent views.
Afternoon activities: Raft trip down the Elwha River with Olympic Raft and Kayak. Tour Lake Crescent with a rented row boat.
Port Angeles: Visitors enjoy public art, heritage tours, and a sea life center downtown, This Olympic Peninsula community is also a notable events town as well as a hub for outdoor enthusiasts and a staging area for trips to Victoria, British Columbia.
Dinner and overnight: Experience the charm of the turn-of-the-century Lake Crescent Lodge Located inside Olympic National Park it serves as a base camp for the variety of recreational activities in the park. Optional evening activity: Symphony, Catch a community playhouse performance in Port Angeles
